TNERC releases draft regulation for solar and wind power forecasting and scheduling

In a bid to facilitate renewable energy integration in the state, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission has released draft regulations for forecasting, scheduling and deviation settlement of solar and wind power. According to the regulations, deviation charges will be imposed on developers for under-injection of power into the grid. However, no charges will be paid to them for excess power generation.
