Vattenfall has signed an offshore wind turbine deal with Siemens Gamesa for the supply and installation of 113 turbines of 8 MW each at three Danish projects having a total capacity of 950 MW. The order involves the delivery of 41 turbines to the Vesterhav Nord and Syd projects (350 MW combined) off the western Danish coast, and 72 turbines to the Kriegers Flak project (600 MW) in the Baltic Sea. The overall investment in the projects is about Euro 1.7 billion. The three wind parks are expected to be commissioned by 2022.
