ReNew Power has acquired 100 per cent stake in KCT Renewable Energy Private Limited (KCTREPL) from the Karm Chand Thapar [KCT] Group for Rs 10 billion. With this, ReNew Power has the ownership of KCTREPL’s three fully operational wind power projects with a total capacity of 103 MW in Andhra Pradesh. All projects have a 25-year PPA at a tariff of Rs 4.80 per kWh. The move has boosted ReNew Power’s operational wind power generation capacity to above 1,300 MW.
