The Power Finance Corporation (PFC) issued $400 million of green bonds on the new International Securities Market of the London Stock Exchange on November 29, 2017. The Climate Bonds Initiative-certified green bonds have a tenor of 10 years and a semi-annual coupon rate of 3.75 per cent. The proceeds will be invested in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects undertaken by PFC.
