ISA becomes an international treaty-based organisation

The International Solar Alliance (ISA) became a treaty based inter-governmental international organisation on December 6, 2017. It received four additional ratifications in November 2017 from Australia, Cuba, Malawi and Peru, thus taking the alliance’s overall ratified members to 19 in total. So far, 46 out of the 121 countries located wholly or partially between the tropics and eligible for the ISA membership have signed the agreement.
