SECI issues tender to develop interstate solar and wind power trading

SECI has released a tender for the development of support services for facilitating power trading at SECI in New Delhi. Category I or Category II trading licensees registered by the CERC are eligible for participation in the tender, whereas technical and financial joint ventures (JVs) as well as consortiums of companies are barred from it. The contract will be valid for two years with a possible extension of one year. The successful bidder will manage SECI’s control room and all power scheduling-related activities, in compliance with CERC regulations and norms. The bid submission deadline is December 11, 2017.
