Jharkhand tenders solar projects to electrify 47 villages

The Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has issued an EPC tender for the electrification of 47 villages under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana. The villages are located in West Singhbhum, Chatra, Sahibganj, Gumla and Hazaribagh districts of the state where micro solar grids are proposed to be set up for rural electrification. The estimated project cost is Rs 100.93 million and the completion time frame is 45 days from the issue of the letter of award. The successful bidder will provide O&M for five years.
