Denmark-based Vestas has received an order from Italy-based Tozzi Sud for eight V117-3.45 MW turbines and three V112-3.45 MW turbines. The project will be located at the Monteverde Wind Park, Avellino province, south Italy. The order involves the supply and installation of 11 wind turbines as well as a 10-year service contract. Turbine delivery is expected in the first quarter of 2018, whilst commissioning is planned for the second quarter of 2018.
