Algeria-based renewable energy project developer Soliwind has announced that it has started the construction of a 1.39 MW rooftop PV system at the Ahmed Ben Bella International Airport in Oran, Algeria. To be installed on the airport’s rooftop, the PV system will use 5,362 solar modules and be spread over an area of 15,900 square metre. The project will be completed by end-2017.
