SECI releases a 200 MW solar EPC tender for Coal India Limited

SECI has released a 200 MW solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) tender under the domestic content requirement (DCR) category on behalf of Coal India Limited (CIL). The project will be developed at the Neemuch-Mandsaur Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh. It will comprise blocks of 100 MW each for Northern Coalfields Limited and South Eastern Coalfields Limited respectively, which are subsidiaries of CIL. However, bidding is allowed for a single 100 MW block only. However, in case no other bidder matches the L1 price, then the entire capacity of 200 MW would be awarded to the L1 bidder. The successful bidder will have to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for 10 years. The bid submission deadline is November 13, 2017.
