NTPC and SECI announce 230 MW of tenders under DCR category

NTPC Limited and SECI have announced tenders for 230 MW of grid-connected solar projects under the DCR category. NTPC has tendered 225 MW of solar capacity to be developed on a turnkey basis in a single block in Bilhaur, Uttar Pradesh. The bid submission deadline for the same is November 24, 2017. The successful bidders will provide operations and maintenance services for 15 years. The projects will be financed through DCB and NTPC Limited’s internal resources and all participants will be required to submit a bid security of Rs 115.62 million. In a separate bid, SECI has released an EPC tender for 5 MW of solar capacity in Ibrahimpatam, Telangana, on behalf of Bharat Dynamics Limited. The last date for the submission of bids is October 30, 2017 and the successful bidder will provide O&M services for a period of five years.
