Mahindra Susten emerges as the lowest bidder for a solar+storage project of NLC

Mahindra Susten has emerged as the lowest bidder in the auction for a 20 MW solar power plant with a 28 MWh battery energy storage system. It was conducted by the Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC). The company has quoted a cost of Rs 2.988 billion to develop the entire project. This includes EPC as well as O&M costs. Other bidders include companies such as Adani, Sterling and Wilson, TBEA and Marine Electricals. The contracts will be awarded after NLC’s evaluation of the viability and feasibility of the project.
