Acciona and Gransolar bag a 100 MW EPC contract for a solar park in Lilyvale

Spain-based renewable energy companies Acciona and Gransolar have acquired a 100 MW engineering, procurement and construction contract for a solar park in Lilyvale, in the state of Queensland, Australia. The facility will cover approximately 396 hectares of land, and consist of 379,260 PV modules with single-axis tracking systems and 25 transformer centres. Financing is being provided by Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Limited, and the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. The project is scheduled to be commissioned by December 2018.
