NTPC has tendered 35 MW worth of solar power projects under the domestic content requirement category. While 20 MW of capacity will be developed at NTPC Simhadri in Andhra Pradesh, 15 MW will be set up at NTPC Ramagundam in Telangana. The projects will be developed on a turnkey basis for captive use by NTPC. Besides project development and commissioning, the successful bidder has to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for 15 years. The bid submission deadline is October 12, 2017.
