Bangladesh-based Intraco Solar has signed an agreement with two government agencies for the development of a 30 MW solar PV power plant. The project will be located on the outskirts of Rangpur, Bangladesh, and will be commissioned within 13 months from the date of allocation of the project. The Bangladesh Power Development Board has signed a construction agreement with Intraco, as well as a power purchase agreement (PPA) to procure the power generated at $0.16 per kWh for 20 years. The project is being financed by Dhaka-based Infrastructure Development Company and some local banks.
