Andhra Pradesh leads with a solar cumulative installed capacity of over 2 GW

As of July 2017, the cumulative installed solar capacity in the country has reached 13.6 GW. Out of this, 4.8 GW was installed in the first half of 2017 as compared to 4.3 GW of capacity in 2016. Among states, Andhra Pradesh leads with a cumulative installed capacity of over 2 GW followed by Gujarat and Karnataka at around 1.2 GW each.
