The Haryana government has waived intra-state wheeling charges on the electricity generated from solar power plants in the state. In addition, cross-subsidy charges, as well as transmission and distribution charges will also be waived. The move is set to help install 4 GW of solar power plants, out of which 1.6 GW of rooftop solar power plants will be installed by 2021-22.
