Denmark-based wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has received an order from Elecnor S.A., a Spanish business group specialising in infrastructure, renewable energy and technology, for 14 units of V117-3.45 MW turbines. These turbines will be installed at the 48 MW Larimar II wind farm, located in the Enriquillo region of the Dominican Republic. The delivery of turbines is planned for the first quarter of 2018 and commissioning is expected by the third quarter of 2018.
