InfraRed has completed an investment in two solar projects in Mexico

London-based InfraRed Capital Partners, a global investment firm focused on infrastructure and real estate, has invested in two greenfield solar photovolatic (PV) parks in Northern Mexico. The two solar parks – Torreoncitos and Rancho el Trece with 36 MW capacity each – will be commissioned by end-2017. InfraRed Capital Partners has invested $17.25 million in each solar park to acquire 50 per cent equity interest from Bester Energy Capital Investments. Meanwhile, INVEX Infraestructura, business partner of InfraRed, holds the remaining 50 per cent of the equity.
