Hindustan Power acquires rights to build 150 MW solar projects in Japan

Hindustan Power projects Private Limited has acquired 15 solar projects in Japan and has plans of acquiring four solar projects with 25 MW of capacity each at Trishal in Bangladesh. The projects in Japan have a cumulative capacity of 150 MW, for which the company has made an upfront payment of $100 million. Moreover, an additional investment of $233 million will be made for the development of the projects in Japan.
