Kaco won two projects of 24 MW of solar inverters

Germany’s Kaco New Energy GmbH has won a contract to supply 24 MW of solar inverters for two projects in Corsica. Kaco will deliver 395 units of its blueplanet 50.0 TL3 INT inverters, which will be equipped with special components for withstanding longterm exposure to salty air conditions. The company will start producing customised solar inverters soon for projects on small islands, where it is difficult to keep the usual safety distance from the sea. Each of the two photovoltaic (PV) facilities in Corsica will have a capacity of 12 MW. They will be installed by German engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm Ralos New Energy near Aghione and Folelli located in the western part of the French-owned island.
