Surana solar wins bid to develop 5 MW of rooftop solar in Andhra Pradesh

Surana Solar has won bids to develop 5 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, under a tender launched by the Kakinada Smart City Corporation. The company emerged as the lowest bidder by quoting a tariff of Rs 5.25 per kWh. The project will be executed under the RESCO model. Meanwhile, the company has received an order from Tejas India Solar Energy for supplying solar modules worth Rs 140 million for a 3 MW solar project located in Kodakandla village in Telangana’s Medak district.
