The Kolkata Metro has tendered 1 MW of rooftop solar projects to be installed on the rooftops of the Noapara Car Depot Complex and other elevated stations. The bid submission deadline was June 12, 2017; however, results are yet to be announced. The project completion time frame is nine months from the date of award of the contract.
