India SME technology services tenders 3.55 MW of rooftop solar

India SME Technology Services, a JV of the Small Industries Development Bank of India and four public sector banks (State Bank of India [SBI], Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce and Indian Bank), has tendered 3.55 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar capacity. The projects will be installed in 51 offices falling under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. They will be developed under the capex model, with the project size ranging from 1 kW to 500 kW. According to the tender document, the modules should be manufactured in India. However, the rest of the components can be procured from any source. The project completion time is 15 months. In case of delay beyond the scheduled commissioning period, no incentive will be provided after the allotted time. The last date for bid submission is June 30, 2017.
