Suzlon to supply wind turbines of more than 100 MW to ReNew Power

Suzlon has won a contract from ReNew Power to supply wind turbine generators (WTGs) with 100.8 MW of capacity. The wind turbines will be utilised for ReNew Power’s Limbwas wind project in Madhya Pradesh. Suzlon will install 48 units of its S111 120 m WTGs with a capacity of 2.1 MW each. The project will be developed on a turnkey basis is expected to be completed by March 2018. Suzlon will also be providing operations and maintenance, and dedicated life-cycle asset management solutions for the project for an initial period of 10 years. Reportedly, this is the fifth such contract that Suzlon has received from ReNew Power.
