Vestas received orders for 72 MW in Ukraine and Germany

Denmark-based wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has received orders totalling 72 MW in Ukraine and Germany. In Ukraine, Vestas has received a 41 MW order for a project located in Novotroitsk, Kherson. The order entails the supply and commissioning of wind turbines as well as Vestas’ Online Business, a supervisory control and data acquisition solution. The delivery and commissioning of the wind turbines is expected in the third quarter of 2017. Meanwhile, in Germany, the company has received a 31 MW order from Uhl Windkraft Projektierung GmbH & Co. KG for the Kohlenstraße wind power plant located in Baden-Württemberg. The order includes the supply and commissioning of nine units of V136-3.45 MW turbines, which is likely to be completed in the second half of 2017. It also includes a 15-year AOM 4000 service agreement.
