Vestas announces three projects in China 

Vestas has announced three separate orders for wind projects in China. One of these is located in eastern China’s Shandong province, and its delivery and commissioning are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2017. Another order was placed by HECIC-New Energy for the Liutai project located in Changli county of Qinhuangdao city in central eastern China’s Hebei province. The 24 wind turbines for this project will have a hub height of 137 metres. The order also includes a two-year active output management 4000 service contract. Delivery and commissioning of this project are expected in the fourth quarter of 2017. Vestas has also secured a 55 MW order for its 2 MW platform, with delivery and commissioning expected in the third quarter of 2017. The customer name, project and turbine specifications have not been disclosed.
