Ostro Energy, the renewable energy subsidiary of private equity firm Actis, is planning to raise Rs 16.6 billion through bonds. The company currently has over 350 MW of wind and solar projects, contracted or under active development, across Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Besides, Ostro has recently won 250 MW of wind power capacity under SECI’s 1 GW wind tender. Currently, it has a commissioned wind projects aggregating 234 MW of capacity in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
