NTPC commissions a floating solar plant in Kerala

NTPC Limited has completed the 100 kWp floating solar plant at Kayamkulam in Kerala. The floating platforms were indigenously developed by NTPC Energy Technology Research Alliance, the research and development arm of NTPC Limited, in collaboration with the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology, Chennai. The system was installed by Swelect Energy Systems Limited, Chennai with support from Network and Traffic Analysis system (DRDO NETRA) and NTPC Kayamkulam station in a span of 22 days.
