The 1,000 MW Kurnool Ultra Mega Solar Park is expected to be connected to the grid by end-April 2017. The park is being implemented by Andhra Pradesh Solar Power Corporation Private Limited, a joint venture (JV) between the Government of India and the Andhra Pradesh government, under the National Solar Mission Phase II, Batch II, State Specific Bundling Programme.
