The Cochin International Airport has commissioned projects aggregating 6 MW of capacity. The projects include a 3 MW plant at the hangar, a 2 MW plant on the southern side of the airport complex and a 1 MW solar plant at the carport. Initially, the airport had installed solar projects aggregating 15.5 MW of capacity to meet its energy requirements and now with the new project it will have a total capacity of 21.5 MW.
