US-based SunPower has received an order from La Compagnie du Vent, a subsidiary of ENGIE, to supply 64.4 MW of its high efficiency E-series solar panels for the construction of seven solar power plants in France. A significant share of the panels supplied under the agreement will be manufactured at SunPower’s facilities in France. So far, SunPower has supplied a total of 45 MW of its solar panels to La Compagnie du Vent for the construction of five solar power plants in France.
