Inox Group sell its 260 MW wind farms to Leap Green Energy

The Inox Group has agreed to sell its 260 MW operating wind farms to Leap Green Energy for an undisclosed amount. Inox Renewables, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gujarat Fluorochemicals and Inox Renewables (Jaisalmer), a wholly owned subsidiary of Inox Renewable Limited, both a part of the Inox Group, entered into definitive agreements for the sale of their operating wind farms to Leap Green Energy Private Limited. The company decided to exit the wind farming business and focus on its core businesses including wind turbine manufacturing. Leap Green Energy already owns around 400 MW of operational assets in India. This deal will make Leap Green the largest independent wind power company in the country.
