Denmark-based wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has received orders totalling 251 MW in China, Germany and Argentina. In China, Vestas has received a 110 MW order for 2 MW platform turbines. The delivery and commissioning of the wind turbines is expected to begin by mid-2017. In Germany, Vestas has received a 41 MW order from Energie Baden-Württemberg AG for the Langenburg wind power plant in Baden-Württemberg. The order includes the supply and commissioning of 12 units of V126-3.45 MW and V126-3.3 MW turbines, with a hub height of 137 metres and 117 metres respectively. The delivery and commissioning of the wind turbines is expected to begin in the second half of 2017. In Argentina, the company has received an order from Greenwind S.A., a subsidiary of Pampa Energía, for the 100 MW Corti wind park in Bahía Blanca. It is an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract and entails the supply, installation, civil works and commissioning of 29 units of V126-3.45 MW turbines. Turbine delivery is planned in the third quarter of 2017, while commissioning is expected in the second quarter of 2018.
