China-based inverter manufacturer Growatt has launched its new-generation, three-phase solar inverter series, the Growatt 8K-11KTL3-S. The new inverters are designed to provide a maximum efficiency of 98.4 per cent and a maximum power point tracking efficiency of 99.5 per cent, as well as a wide voltage range of 160-1,000 volts DC (VDC). This helps maximise the overall efficiency of the inverter.
The inverters are lightweight, facilitate easy installation and provide a maximum DC/AC ratio of up to 1.2. The new series has IP65 ingress protection, a natural cooling facility and low noise generation capability. It is suitable for residential photovoltaic (PV) systems as well as for small-scale industrial and commercial PV systems. It is compatible with Growatt’s monitoring devices, cloud platform and online smart service system. This enables service engineers to resolve more than 60 per cent of the problems by remote configuration and firmware update, thereby reducing the need for on-site service.
