Andhra Pradesh government to set a floating solar power plant at PBRA Reservoir

The Andhra Pradesh government is planning to set up a 100 MW floating solar power plant at the Penna Ahobilam Balancing Reservoir in Anantapur. Meanwhile, the state’s New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation is also in the process of meeting its 1,000 MW wind power generation target by March 31, 2017. As of now, 400 MW of wind power projects have been commissioned and another 600 MW are in the execution stage and expected to be commissioned by March 2017.
