The Suzlon Group has secured orders from a leading independent power producer to supply and install 226.8 MW of wind turbines in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. As per the contract, Suzlon will supply 108 units of its S111 90 metre tubular tower wind turbine, each with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW. In addition, Suzlon will be responsible for the O&M and dedicated lifecycle asset management of the project for a period of 10 years. The project is scheduled for commissioning in March 2017.
