The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has released a paper on the introduction of electricity storage systems in India. The document covers topics such as grid level applications of electricity storage systems, controlling intermittent generation from renewable sources and recovery of electricity storage services in detail. The regulator has invited comments and suggestions on the paper by March 6, 2017.
