JinkoSolar’s production facility in Shangrao, China, has received International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) TS 62941 certification, which defines the quality of PV module manufacturers’ management systems. The IEC TS 62941 specification was launched in early 2016.
The technical certification is based on ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems but features a few additional requirements as well. For instance, IEC TS 62941 creates higher industry standards for PV module product design, development, product certification, process control, key raw material control, procurement, product testing/monitoring, documents, etc.
